About Us

Kenneth Branco started his journey many years ago into holistic medicine when he injured his shoulder playing sports. Like every one else, he went to the doctor for help, he figured a pill will do it, but instead he heard the same line they’re still using today… “You need surgery; you have a torn rotator cuff and its bone on bone.” When anti -inflammatory pills and cortisone shots did nothing, he was a little depressed over western medicine’s inability to resolve a simple shoulder problem. So not wanting surgery, he took a friends referral to a sports massage therapist who fixed his shoulder problem in three visits. So the journey began…

Ken studied Shamanism and Native American spirituality in Arizona with the Hopi Indians where he met and worked on the historic figure Grandfather David, Chief of the Hopi Indians. Ken went on to become a sports therapist, nutritionist and massage therapist. He then moved to Ireland for five years and studied Acupuncture at the University of Cork City. Upon returning to the United States he continued his education in acupuncture at The New England School of Acupuncture, where he graduated in 1995 as a licensed acupuncturist. In 1996 he was also certified as an herbalist. Ken received medical privileges at the Boston VA Hospital where he worked for six years in the Dept. of Psychology/Neurology in the use of Low Level Laser Therapy. He was one of the first pioneers in the use of LLLT and its effectiveness on hand traumas, particularly Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He was published in the Journal of Alternative Medicine on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and was acclaimed with the best results in the country at 92 % cure rate without surgery.

Ken went on to lecture to doctors and insurance companies on this non-invasive approach and its cost effectiveness. He has taught other acupuncturists this method from Maine to Hawaii. In addition to his vast knowledge of Laser therapy, Ken holds Masters Degrees in Special Education, Human Development and Social Work. He is also a certified hypnotherapist and transformational counselor and a licensed social worker. He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotherapists, The American Society of Alternative Therapists, The Association of Oriental Medicine, and The North American Association for Laser Therapy and The World Association for Laser Therapy.
